P6 students who would like to improve on

their Booklet B performance.

How is the course conducted?

  • This program is designed with the intention to give students a final boost of science problem solving skills by attempting challenging science questions that require stable fundamentals of overlapping scientific concepts. Questions will place strong emphasis on the common misconceptions that most students will have.
  • Recent PSLE science trend suggests that there is an increased emphasis on questions pertaining to application and experiment scenarios. Students can expect to face many such questions. Students will also be reassessed on their ability to brainstorm relevant key words, providing them with a better understanding of delivering an answer that yields the maximum credit possible.

Time flies.  Days pass us by quickly.  The school holidays are almost upon us again.  This means that it is time for fun and joy for our precious ones!

We are excited to invite you to participate in our December Holiday Program at the end of 2016.  As always, our holiday program is designed to bring passion in learning, inspiration in achieving and many more to your child.


PSLE A* Achievers

This course is a head-start in school syllabus math curriculum for P6 pupils in 2017.  Before the busy P6 year begins, school holidays will be a good time to pick up skills to tackle higher-order challenging heuristic and non-routine problems.  The course also builds up student’s foundation in their P5 work.

Topics covered include; 4 Operations in Algebraic Expressions, Problems involving Fractions/Ratio/Decimal/Percentage, Circles, Rate & Speed


Fusion Math

This enrichment course is meant for students who are keen to take on advance learning in math, as well as to build a strong foundation in various topics in order to solve high order problems in line with local and nonlocal math competitions.

Fusion Math P6

This program is designed to enhance problem solving skills in pupils who are interested to take part in the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (SMOPS) competition in 2017.  This competition is organised by Hwa Chong Institution.

Topics covered include; Circles, Permutations & Combinations, Kinematics & Relative Velocity

Science Program

The Science program stresses on the content and its delivery in an engaging manner.  Hands-on experiments will be carried out during school holiday programs to build up pupil’s experimental knowledge.

Available levels: Primary 4 (Experimental Learning on Heat & Light Energy), Primary 5 (Experimental Learning on Electricity), Primary 6 (Experimental Learning on Forces & Energy)

DSA Advance Science P6

PSLE Math Help for Julian : Fraction Ratio Percentage Question

Mrs Devi had a total of 286 blue and red pens.She sold 75% of the blue pens and bought another 59 red pens.After that,she has an equal number of blue and red pens.How many blue pens did she have at first?

This is a Primary 5 question.

This question is not difficult but if you were to use bar models, it might get a bit complicated.

Math Arena will be conducting PSLE Maths Final Sprint for Primary 6 students who will be sitting for the PSLE Maths paper on 2 October 2016.

Summary of Lesson

  1. A guide on topical skills, proper time management and checking of answers.
  2. Discussion on clues and strategies to problem solving questions from recent preliminary exam papers.
  3. Special attention on geometry, speed and non-routine problems.
