March Holiday NMOS Training starts on 14 March 2016

olympiadThe  National Mathematical Olympiad of Singapore ( NMO) is  an annual national competition organized by the NUS High School of Mathematics and Science since 2006 . Follow this link from NUS High. The schedule is stated here for your convenience.

PRELIMINARY ROUND

(Written)

Date: 29th June 2016, Wednesday

Venue: Respective Primary Schools

All registered participants
SPECIAL ROUND

(Written)

Date: 26th July 2016, Tuesday

Time: 3:30 – 5 pm

Venue: NUS High School

By invitation

Working on mock papers and questions will give pupils greater exposure to the topics and questions most relevant to the competition.

14-17 March (Mon to Thu)

P4 level: $320    10:30 am to 01:00 pm

P5 level: $360    03:00 pm to 05:30 pm

For March holiday program, it will be preparatory work for the NMOS competition.

In June holiday program, the content structure is entirely mock paper training.

The purpose of our lessons is to build a firm foundation for students.

The tougher mock paper questions are actually not “difficult” as they are simpler concepts coming together.  Students who find themselves unable to cope with tougher questions actually still have issues at their foundation. Once the foundations are strong, questions they used to find “challenging” are no longer an obstacle to them 🙂
