2. The figure below shows six identical circles and a larger circle with diameter 10 cm. Taking *π* = 3.14, find the area of the shaded region.

3. Candy and Daisy were given some money each. If Candy and Daisy spent $16 and $12 each day respectively, Candy would still have $650 when Daisy had spent all her money. If Candy and Daisy spent $15 and $20 each day respectively, Candy would still have $825 when Daisy had spent all her money. How much money was given to Candy at the beginning?
