Dear Parik,

here are the questions your mum emailed us,

In the end, 40% of the fruits in cartoon X and 70% of the fruits in cartoon Y were apples. How many fruits did Christopher transfer from cartoon Y to cartoon X?

2) Jug X and Jug Y contain some water. If 46.5 ml of water is drained out from Jug X, the volume of water in Jug X will be 60% that of the water in Jug Y. If 35.2 ml of water is drained out from Jug Y, the volume of water in Jug Y will be 85% that of the water in Jug X. Find the total volume of water in Jug X and Y.

3)Winston had 80 more cards than Melvin but 50 more cards than Jason. Winston gave half of his cards to Melvin. Melvin then gave one-fifth of his cards to Jason. If Jason had 62 more stamps than Winston, how many cards did Melvin have in the end?
