Fong Pak Gek

Miss Fong Pak Gek has been teaching since 2001 in Private Schools as well as in the local government schools.

She has conducted English, Financial Literacy and Math courses in both Primary and Secondary schools. The Math courses conducted include Olympiad ( Pri / Sec ) , Enrichment and Remedial Programs .The students she had taught include GEP students from schools such as NYPS , ACS , RGPS , and foreign students from neighboring countries .

She believes that every child is unique and each learns at a different pace. Students should be encouraged to strive harder, rewards and encouragements are given when appropriate. She is especially interested in helping underachievers or underprivileged students.

She teaches by interacting with students and using examples encountered in daily life where possible. Emphasis is placed on logical reasoning. Students are taught to check their answers in order to be self-reliant. They are also encouraged to ask questions and participate in class discussions.
